From Farm to Basecamp – Built for Experiences
Ravnfloget Base Camp Vega AS (BCV) was established in 2019 by local enthusiasts and shareholders with a shared vision: to create an inclusive and sustainable tourism destination on Vega. The goal was to make Sundsvoll a natural hub for travelers seeking active and meaningful holiday experiences.
In collaboration with Ravnfloget Via Ferrata, BCV purchased the farm at Sundsvollveien 70. The property was then transformed into a modern base for tourism and activities, featuring:
- 20 small cabins inspired by traditional eider houses
- Sanitary facilities and restaurant located in the old barn
- Tent and camper van sites with sea views
Base Camp Vega now serves as both a place to stay and a starting point for a wide range of outdoor activities – whether you’re climbing, kayaking, cycling, or simply enjoying nature. The farm has become a social gathering place for people who want to share adventures – through guided tours or relaxed recreation. Here you’ll meet hikers, climbers, paddlers, nature lovers, and explorers, all with a shared desire to experience the best of the Helgeland coast.
We collaborate with both in-house and external activity providers to offer a wide variety of experiences. And we are continuously developing new products, tours, and concepts to make Vega more accessible – and unforgettable.

Ravnen Pub og Spiseri
Start your day with a hearty breakfast, enjoy a well-earned lunch – or finish the evening with a delicious dinner and a view of the sea. Ravnen Pub & Spiseri serves breakfast, lunch and dinner in a warm, rustic setting. The menu features local favourites like bacalao, fish soup and the popular Ravnfloget burger.
The restaurant also makes a great venue for meetings, weddings, jubilees and confirmations, or just a gathering of friends or colleagues in beautiful surroundings.
