Welcome to Tangvika Guest Harbour, a quiet and sheltered marina on the west side of Vega – just 1.2 km from Base Camp Vega and 2.3 km from both Vegatrappa and the Ravnfloget Via Ferrata. Moor your boat here and enjoy easy access to some of the best adventures Vega has to offer.
Practical information
The floating dock has capacity for four boats up to 20 feet, with two spots on each side:
- South side: Spots S1 and S2
- North side: Spots N1 and N2
- Price: NOK 200 per spot per night (from 15:00 to 15:00 the next day)
Larger boat?
If your boat is longer than 20 feet, you are still welcome – just make sure to book two adjacent spots on the same side (either S1 and S2, or N1 and N2). Be sure to add both spots to your cart before completing your reservation.
Location
Tangvika is a well-protected, easily accessible harbour – perfect for both short stays and longer stopovers. It’s a peaceful place to moor your boat and explore Vega from land or sea. See Tangvika on the map
Pricing

Per spot NOK 200 per night
Sanitary access: NOK 150 per person (available at Base Camp Vega)
Stay is valid from 15:00 to 15:00 the next day.

From the harbour, it’s a short walk to:
- Base Camp Vega
- Sanitary facilities (10 showers & toilets – available for purchase)
- Ravnen Pub & Spiseri restaurant
- Popular activities like Via Ferrata and the Vegatrappa trail
